Problem Note 46833: Specifying an IP address that is longer than 9 characters prevents the publishing of formats for the Teradata database

When you try to publish formats using the %INDTD_PUBLISH_FORMATS macro, the following errors might appear in the SAS® log:
ERROR: Function sas_put_stub was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_put was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_put was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_put was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_put was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_put was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_puti was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_puti was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_puti was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_puti was not successfully replaced. ERROR: Function sas_puti was not successfully replaced.
Also, the following errors might appear in the VERSION.TXT file:
ERROR: TKTSDriverConnect failed. ERROR: TKTS initialization failed.
One known cause of these errors is using an IP address that is greater than 9 characters in length for the SERVER= option.
The only workaround is to use the alias for the SERVER= option instead of the IP address.
